Locket Love

I was recently asked by an amazing lady and blogger to make a keepsake locket. She wanted something to hold a lock of her son's hair who had passed away. I was beyond moved by the request and couldn't wait to get started. I knew I had to make it very special and very unique in order to honor her and her son in the way they deserve. This is what I came up with:

I think it came out pretty great. It makes me feel really good that I could help someone keep such a dear memory close to their heart. Thanks a million to Sister Wolf for giving me the honor, and I hope I did you both justice.

It's not jewelry obviously, just a new tattoo. But it holds a special place in my heart. It's for my mother, my father, and my step father who have always allowed and encouraged me to be me.
